Exhibitions
The Peggy Guggenheim Collection presents the retrospective of the American artist Mark Tobey, the Tramp painter.
The Peggy Guggenheim Collection is located in the Dorsoduro district in the San Vio area, close to the church of Salute.

The Gallerie Dell’accademia presents the work of the Great American artist Philip Guston entitled Philip Guston and the poets, the meeting between the painter and the poets who were sources of inspiration for his works: Lawrence, Yeats, Wallace Stevens, Montale, Eliot.
The galleries are in campo della carità (also known as Campo dell’Accademia) in the sestiere of Dorsoduro.

The Scala Contarini del Bovolo is one of the most singular examples of Venetian architecture transitioning from the Gothic style to the Renaissance.
The Scala is located in a small square hidden behind the Campo Manin in the sestiere of San Marco.

The Scuola Grande della Misericordia presents a multimedia exhibition: Magister Giotto, the itinerary of the visit of Giotto’s works is accompanied by the voice of Luca Zingaretti and the music of Paolo Fresu.
The Scuola is located near the Fondamenta della Misericordia in the sestiere of Cannaregio.

Night Walks

Every Friday and Saturday from 7.15 p.m. You can take part in the night walk lasting two hours, to discover Cannaregio and its mysteries. It starts from Campo San Jeremiah (near the Ponte delle Guglie) and follows a path in search of the hidden Venice. (Cost 15 euro).
Biennale Exhibition of Cinema

The Art Biennale is always open throughout the month of August and at the end of the month the 74 International Film Festival will take place at the Lido of Venice from 30 August to 9 September 2017
And do not forget that Venice has a beautiful beach equipped on the island of Lido, easily accessible by vaporetto. At the lido you will find great restaurants and pleasant sea terraces where you can hear good music and dance.
