The 2018 will be celebrated in Piazza San Marco at the end of midnight with a spectacle of fireworks where the Venetians welcome the new year with toasts and hugs. All those who will be present at this splendid show can admire it from Riva degli Schiavoni, Riva Ca ‘ Dio, Riva San Biagio, the Riva of the Seven martyrs (the fires are not visible from Piazza and Piazzetta San Marco).

The civic museums will also be open: from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Palazzo Ducale and the Correr Museum; From 11am to 5pm, Ca ‘ Pesaro, Museum of Glass and Ca ‘ Rezzonico, and also the cultural center of Mestre with the exhibition “Around the Glass”, from 16.00 to 10pm.

The public baths of Piazza San Marco (located in Calle of Ascension-Vallaresso, Bocca di Piazza San Marco), San Bartolomeo, Accademia, Bragora, Piazzale Roma and Tronchetto will also be open during the night.
